For years at the Wine Country Circuit dog show, Watkins-Montour Rotarians have served as pooper-scoopers and crossing guards and have helped with set-up and tear-down. The 39th annual event was Sept. 25-28, 2025, at Sampson State Park in Romulus, NY. The AKC-licensed Wine Country Circuit is one of the largest shows in the nation. It is hosted by the Elmira Kennel Club, the Finger Lakes Kennel Club and the Kanadasaga Kennel Club. Each club holds its all-breed dog shows and obedience, agility and rally trials on consecutive days of the event. The show features some of the top dogs in the U.S. and Canada competing in conformation, obedience, rally and agility. The event is free, and spectators are always welcome.
